2nd Sunday of Easter (Divine Mercy Sunday) - PS 118:2-4, 13-15, 22-24

I am a big fan of root beer, I weep that there is not a patron saint of root beer.  I also teach second grade at Saint Croix Catholic School in Stillwater, Minnesota and feeling very blessed to work alongside Dominican Sisters.

I was born and raised in Minnesota and I currently live in Saint Paul.  I'm married to my beautiful bride, Joy and we have three incredible children.  Our youngest child was born three months premature and despite many dire prognosis from doctors, he is doing well and is truly our miracle child.  You can read our journey at

Music has always been a huge part of my life whether it has been singing in a barbershop quartet, singing in the choir, or playing clarinet with my polka band.  I am also a recording artist.  I was self taught on the guitar and I have been playing since I was 15.  My first CD, Be Not Afraid, is available on iTunes and CDBaby.  I have been fortunate enough to get a little bit of recognition with articles in The Catholic Register and The Catholic Spirit.  I am currently working on my second album.  All the songs on this album were written while my wife was pregnant with our youngest child.  Not knowing if he would live, the songs are about how we coped and where we found God throughout the journey.  Look for a Kickstarter campaign very soon, I would be honored to have your support.  More information about my music can be found at my website:
