I met Gabriel during my second year on NET and I'm glad to feature him on The Psalm. I don't think I ever told him this, but Gabe easily strengthened my desire to get a degree in Theology during our year on NET. I was called to NET Ministries for some wild reason, and it certainly wasn't because of my knowledge of Catechesis or Theology. I merely only had an open heart to do ministry. Meeting Gabriel showed me how important it was to have both the desire to do ministry AND have the formal education backing it as well. Major thanks to him and his willingness to write a Psalm for the Church!

Gabriel has a passion for composing music, writing articles and speaking about the experience of real beauty. He is from the small city of Antioch, California. Though he enjoys time with friends spent in leisure, he has always felt a desire to seek answers to the “big questions” of life. This prompted him to study philosophy and religious studies at Franciscan University and to obtain his Master’s Degree in Theology of Marriage and Family at the John Paul II Institute in Washington D.C.  He works for thecultureproject encouraging teens to ask themselves the important questions of life and to wrestle with living virtuous an chaste lives in today’s culture. His hope is that more young people will come to understand that living a life of virtue is the path to finding a life of joy, fulfillment and purpose.
