I am a student that is attending Stephen F. Austin State University, of which I am currently active in the Catholic community. I am a co-leader of the praise and worship team at St Mary's Catholic Campus Ministry and I also cantor on Sunday Massed as well as other Holy Days of obligation. I have a long background in praise and worship music, but I am also learning latin mass settings which delve into the Gregorian chant category.

Dave and Laura Myers have been playing music together for over 13 years. They are married and have 4 young boys. Originally from New Orleans, they now live in north Dallas and lead the contemporary Mass at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Prosper. Laura sang at her first wedding when she was just 5 years old and has been doing so ever since. Her angelic voice blends well with Dave’s percussive guitar style. Writing the music for the weekly responsorial psalm is one of their favorite activity to do together. Through the years, they have played music at weekly Masses, adoration nights, weddings, and other church related events.

Vicente (Vince) Lujan is a bilingual liturgical musician and praise and worship leader. Through his work as a parish youth minister, presenter and professional musician at live music concerts and liturgies he has invited people to build and cross bridges that span the gap between the English and Spanish speaking communities within the church. Vince  lives with his wife Charity and two daughters Elena & Violet in Denton, TX. He currently leads mass on Saturday evenings at St. Thomas Aquinas in Pilot Point, TX. 

 

Vince is part of the bilingual music ministry 'Jesus Team A' which was founded by long time friend and songwriting partner Manuel Bravo. Jesus Team A (Jesus Te Ama) - is an energetic bilingual praise and worship band. The group seamlessly blends Spanish and English songs and brings together faith communities from diverse backgrounds. By sharing personal faith journeys and exploring differences in cultural experience, the group unites listeners as the body of Christ. Their message challenges participants to reach beyond personal borders and offer the unconditional acceptance and love that Christ offers to all of us.

Chicago born and Atlanta grown, Gabby Banzon is a music therapist, songwriter, and worship leader living in Dallas, TX. She grew up playing a variety of instruments in both school ensembles and charismatic worship teams. Gabby graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2014 with a major in Music Therapy and a minor in Creative Music Media. While at GCSU, she expanded her range of music by playing in jazz, folk, rock, and worship groups. In the summers of 2014 & 2015, she worked as a missionary for Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. In the fall of 2015, she began a graduate program in Music Therapy at Texas Woman's University, which she completed in 2017. 

Gabby released her first single, entitled "Open My Lips (Praise the Lord)," in 2015 and released the Life EP in 2016 with the help of Mercy Crew Publishing.

Gabby currently works as a program director and therapeutic coordinator for a group of non-profit community theatres. When she's not working or playing music, she enjoys sitting down and having a good old conversation over a good meal.

Ali Hoffman has a passion for Jesus, the Catholic Church, her family, doughnuts, and Chipotle, in that order. She served with NET Ministries (www.netusa.org) and upon graduating from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota with a degree in Catholic Studies and Family Studies, she moved back home to the GREAT state of Texas and is now a co-youth director at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic church in Carrollton, Texas, where she assists in worship. She helped develop and teach at NET’s musician’s training for 5 years as well as lead worship for various events and conferences in the Fort Worth and Dallas diocese.

Matthew Cranley serves as a High School youth minister. He leads the Encounter nights on Wednesday nights and assists with all the musical needs of the High School Ministry Program. Prior to his work at SJV, Matt was trained in ministry with the National Evangelization Teams (NET) in St. Paul, MN where he also worked on Mission Staff for two years. After his work with NET, Matt attended Franciscan University graduating with an Associates in Theology. After working as campus minister at St. Leo University in Florida, he is very excited to finally be a Texan again and be close to his family and friends at SJV.

Matt Lewis is a Catholic musician and Worship Leader based in Texas. Last month, he released his first single called “Song Will Rise” and hopes to record an EP next year.

Matt currently leads worship for the Sunday evening Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in the Diocese of Austin. He has traveled from Arizona to Georgia playing for the Life Teen and Edge Summer Camps, The Pines Catholic Camp in East Texas, as well as other Catholic events and retreats throughout Texas, Alabama, and New Mexico. Matt can also be frequently seen playing bass and writing for NOVUM, a Catholic worship band based out of his hometown of Sugar Land, TX.  

When Matt isn't doing something musical, he enjoys spending time playing racquetball and brewing beer.
