Justin Dery is a Contemporary Catholic/Christian Artist, Worship Leader, singer- songwriter and youth minister. Recently relocating to Anderson, South Carolina, Dery serves as Director of Youth Ministry and Technology, at Saint Paul the Apostle, in Seneca, South Carolina. A native of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Dery served as Worship Leader for the Diocese of Providence’s “Glorify” and Music Director for Saint Blaise Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Boston. Dery has played / worked with various artists, groups, and to include Nationally recognized Catholic Speaker and Musicians such as, Steve Angrisano, Sarah Kroger, Jesse Manibusan, Mike Patin, Emily Wilson, Bob Perron, Katie Prejean, and Tommy McGrady.
In addition, Dery has played at World Youth Day 2008 in Sydney, Australia. Additional venues include, Soulfest, Proud 2B Catholic, and Diocesan Gatherings for the Diocese of Charleston, Diocese of St. Augustine, Diocese of Providence and the Archdiocese of Hartford. Dery played for “Pointe Blank”, a contemporary Christian band, playing on the same line-up as Chris Tomlin, Third Day, Matt Maher and Jars of Clay. Dery also founded the indie folk band One Step Forward, playing Christian music for the purpose of young adult evangelization. Since put on hiatus for other endeavors.
